Don’t miss the Royal Palace when you travel to Bangkok. I was in awe to visit such a grand place. Building adorments are all gold plated, as you can see in these pictures.

While you’re there, don’t forget to visit the museum where you’ll learn lots about the royal family.

I’ve heard a lot about the floating market in Bangkok, but I was dissappointed when I got there, since I saw only a dozen little boat selling stuff. I thought it was going to be a place all packed with little boats. Our tour guide told us that it used to be like that in the past.

However, the boat ride was pleasant because I got to see tall, modern buildings at one instance and then old, run down sheds at the next. That was an experience.

But I think the best part was when we bought bread from the floating market vendors to feed a large school of fish. No matter how much bread you throw into the water, they would be gone in a flash.

One of the things that you can miss when traveling to Bangkok is the collection of magnificent temples there. It’s as if all the money in the country is poured into temples. Here’s are a few picture to whet your appetite, but you really have to go and see it for yourself to get the real experience.
